CORROSION MANAGEMENT SEMINAR
TOSL held A One-day Training Seminar on Corrosion Management at th e Larfarge Conference Room, 2nd Floor Wing "A", Elephant Cement House. Alausa-Ikeja. The seminar was held on September 23, 2009 and the theme was "Enhancing Assets Value and Productivity Through Corrosion Management in Oil, Petrochemicals, and Chemical Plants".
The facilitator of this seminar Professor Oluwatoyin Ashiru, is a renowned metallurgical engineer with profesional experience spanning Nigeria, UK, USA, and Saudi Arabia. Professor Ashiru is currently a technical adviser to Saudi Basic Industries Corporation(SABIC), Jubail, Saudi Aarabia. His main function includes project management and failure analysis to prevent plant shut-downs in SABIC's more than 20 large scale industries (petrochmeical, desailition, oil & gas, steel, and chemical production plants).
