Tricontinental Oil Services Limited (Tricon) is a well established wholly Nigerian owned Company whose operations consistently exceed 90% (ninety percent) local content thereby exceeding the Federal Governments target of 45% and 70% respectively for years 2006 and 2010. Tricontinental Oil Services Limited utilizes the latest technology available in computer science to provide our clients with necessary support. We are constantly upgrading both our hardware and software applications as technology advances. To deliver quality training to our personnel we have various consultancy and training specialist centers where we send our staff for training.
TECHNICAL BASE
The Technical base of Tricon is excellent. Apart from its technical resources, Tricon has a Technical Support Agreement with top oil servicing companies globally for the foremost global provider of Consulting and Engineering Services focusing on energy with offices in over 42 countries of the world and a personnel data bank of over 77,000 professionals worldwide.
The Technical Support of our partners has resulted in Tricon benchmarking its operations in accordance with world class standards. Recently, Tricon has just executed a contract with a value of approximately $18.2million for Mobil Producing Nigeria Unlimited for the Subsea Structural Inspection for 82 Platforms in December 2008.
The Contract awarded to Tricon was significantly influenced by Local Content considerations. However the performance of Tricon in Nigeria has surpassed the expectations of NAPIMS/NNPC and Mobil. Tricon is leveraging this contract to further develop its capacity and plans to become a full global player in its own right in the very near future.
